摘要：Disclosed an HDR television and a method for regionally dimming, the HDRtelevision including a display screen, an offset calculation module, a constant-currentdriving and controlling module, a plurality of constant-current driving circuits, a pluralityof light bars, an image processing MCU, and a memory; the display screen is divided into aplurality of regions, and the plurality of light bars are respectively distributed in theplurality of display screen regions; the image processing MCU is configured to output agrayscale signal; the offset calculation module is configured to acquire brightnessinformation of each region of the display screen, calculate a reference offset of eachregion according to the brightness information of each region, and store the referenceoffset in the memory; the constant-current driving and controlling module is configuredto read the reference offset in the memory, convert into a multi-channel PWM controlsignal according to the reference offset and the grayscale signal, and respectively drivethe plurality of constant-current driving circuits to output different constant current tolight up the light bar of the corresponding region to illuminate the display. The technicalsolution of this disclosure improves the consistency of the television display.
