摘要：A long woven mesh strip is passed through a die (11,12) and at least one of theedges is embedded in a molten extruded plast profile. The mesh openings are initiallypenetrated by the plastic which then completely encloses the mesh fibers. AnIndependent claim is made for the process equipment including a die with a profile-forming channel (13) fed by a channel (17). A flat gap (18) for guiding the woven meshextends from one end of the die to the other and intersects the cavity.
