摘要：Articles for providing controlled release of materials such as flavoring andfragrance compositions into an environment, the articles comprising a core of a functionalorganoleptic composition dispersed within a first polymeric composition and a barrierpolymer of a second polymeric substance covering a portion of the total surface area ofthe core or cores, the uncovered portion of the core directly contacting the environmentaround the article, with the average molecular weight of the functional composition beinggreater than 100, and the core comprising a water-soluble polymer mixed with asurfactant or fabric softener.
