As the New Year's Eve party is approaching, I am getting more and more excited about it. It is a time when I can gather with my family and friends, enjoy delicious food, and watch performances together.

One of the things I am looking forward to the most is the countdown to midnight. It is a tradition to count down from ten seconds to welcome the New Year. When the clock strikes twelve, we usually hug each other and say \"Happy New Year!\" while fireworks light up the sky.

Another highlight of the party is the performances. We usually have singers, dancers, and comedians who entertain us throughout the night. I remember one year, my cousin performed a magic show and it was amazing. We were all amazed by his skills and couldn't stop talking about it for days.
