摘要：The invention relates to a brake, which is closable under the pressure of springsand releasable by means of a hydraulic cylinder, preferably a brake for a hydraulic motor,for example an annular gear motor, which locks the output shaft when the hydraulicmotor is in the unpressurized state, and which is released by the hydraulic cylinder whenthe hydraulic motor is acted upon by pressurized hydraulic fluid. In order to achieve theobject of creating a brake of this type, in which the hydraulic fluid is easily drawn off fromthe hydraulic cylinder, in order to thereby engage the brake, the piston (21) of thehydraulic cylinder (18,19) is, according to the invention, provided with an aperture or athrottle port (32), through which the hydraulic fluid can pass into a pressure-freechamber or a low-pressure chamber, preferably into a chamber of the hydraulic motor.
